Hawker Chief Designer Sydney Camm’s Hurricane ranks with the most important aircraft designs in military aviation history. The P-61 Black Widow was the first U.S. aircraft developed to locate and destroy enemy aircraft at evening and in bad weather, a feat produced attainable by the use of on-board radar.
