Stainless Tread Ribbon

Center stringer comfort stair connects two workplace floors in Starret Lehigh developing. Stringer and slab edge assemblies are blackened. Twenty 4 stainless steel treads are welded to the stringer type a continuous ribbon. 1 1/4" diameter handrail posts are continuous bent "C" shapes that wrap about treds and are welded to stringer. Stair was delivered to internet site in one piece [24′ extended 3′ wide 3′ tall @ 2000lbs. Glass is two 1/two" layers of low iron tempered glass with PVB interlayer. Every single panel is a 148.375"x41.25" rectangle that weighs 522lbs. Cut out in concrete floor is trimmed with a box of 1/two" thick blackened steel that was fully prewelded in the shop. The box picks up the load at best of stair and serves as a custom base shoe for the glass.
