Omegasonics Introduces Ultrasonic Cleaning for 3D Prototyped Parts

Simi Valley, CA (PRWEB) August 25, 2014

Omegasonics, a leading manufacturer of ultrasonic cleaning systems, announced today the introduction of two ultrasonic cleaning units for use with fuse deposition modeling (FDM) 3D parts.

The 1900 BT and the SST4030 utilize precision ultrasonic technology to accurately and methodically remove all support material from 3D prototyped parts, one layer at a time. These innovative units effectively clean ABS, polycarbonate, polycarbonate-ISO, Nylon 12, and PC-ABS parts, regardless of a part’s geometry and complexity.

“Our engineers have been working for some time with one of the top 3D printing equipment manufacturers to develop ultrasonic cleaning units that deliver superior parts cleaning,” said Frank Pedeflous, President of Omegasonics. “The advanced technology of our 3D ultrasonic cleaners help make the prototyping process more cost effective and allows manufacturers to get ideas to market faster than ever.”

The new Omegasonics cleaners are fast, easy to use, and designed for the office environment. They are designed with all solid state components, Plug & Play construction, and require no regular maintenance. A stainless steel parts basket with a unique lid ensures that parts are fully submerged in the ultrasonic bath for maximum cleaning throughout the entire cleaning cycle.

Other features include:

    User-friendly illuminated control panel
    Digital temperature control
    Digital timer controlled ultrasound
    Large tank capacity
    Stainless steel drain valve
    Insulated tank for reduced noise
    And more

No other existing process removes support materials from 3D prototyped parts as quickly, easily and precisely as the Omegasonics1900 BT and the SST4030 ultrasonic cleaning units.

Letters to God, Part II

Image by Sprengben [why not get a friend]
So this is the third Photo I dedicate to the new Angels and Airwaves Album which is called Love.
The title of today’s song is Letters to God, Part II. You should definitely download it here for free: http://modlife.com/angelsandairwaves/love

So then, what do we have on this photo? Well it is kind of put together. When I visited Hong Kong there was a Ticket counter to purchase Tickets for Honk Kongs Disneyland. I took the Photo from an escalator. Hence the background was another escalator with a grey and stinky background.

Therefore I choose to create a new background. I took it from Stuck in Customs. It is called “The One sent me to the northern Rockies to get this sunset photo for The China Machine“

I choose the name to this song because everything in this Photo is somehow perfect as you would request it when you’d write an letter and ask him to create a perfect world for you.

Letters to God, Part II
All the phones have rung and rung
They’re off the hook, all but one
And all the mail, stacked up inside
Up from the floor, a mile high

And like one would, like a child
I’m asking…
Like I could knock on your door
Will you let me in

Dear God, I found out the same things we learn when we die
I found out the truth, it’s all a big lie
I found out the words are hard to describe
To tell you I’m lost here, I’m waiting, goodbye

Climbing trees and paper planes
Like as akid, we’re all the same
Tears of joy with sullen hearts
Sticks and stones and broken arms

And like one would, like a child
I’m asking…
Like I could knock on your door
Will you let me in

Dear God, I found out the same things we learn when we die
I found out the truth, it’s all a big lie
I found out the words are hard to describe
To tell you I’m lost here, I’m waiting, goodbye
I felt I was wrong and it’s not you or I
Or anyone else that you chose that night
It seems like the madness, the choice and the light
Have made it all clear if we run and hide
