The whole unit is about 2′ x 2′ x 2′. 3/4 inch plexiglass is used although I will have a piece of something (say, MDF) on the top of the axis as a cutting surface. I have not yet decided.

A view of the entire motor mount bar. 3 pieces of L-channel (1 inch) were used to brace the motor onto the stage.
Four screw holes were drilled into the L-channel to support the four mounting holes on the motor itself. Four screwholes were also drilled across the beam through both sets of L-channel to support the motor onto the plexiglass.
