Modelling
When Gold was 13, her mother, who had been a model in the 1960s, sent images of her to modelling agencies. Her very first agency was Now Models. Early in her profession, she appeared in music videos by Roxette and MJ Cole (“Crazy Adore”) as nicely as adverts for Marks & Spencer and Next. Gold moved on to Choose Model Management in London but spent a huge portion of her profession with Take two Model Management.
By 2006, Gold switched to Subsequent London before changing her agency to Models 1. She is currently signed to Models 1 in London, MC2 in New York and Tel Aviv, Shine Group in Johannesburg, Image Models in Athens, Unity Models in Hamburg, Modelwerk in Munich, Central Models in Lisbon, Francina in Barcelona, Stockholmsgruppen in Stockholm, and IMM Models in Brussels.
Gold is predominantly a style model who can be observed in editorials in high style magazines nevertheless, she has dabbled in some commercial modelling as well. The biggest and most well-known endorsement of her profession as a result far has been for La Senza lingerie. She has also carried out campaigns for Pantene shampoo, Wonderbra, Truimph, Jockey, Brilleland, and Truworths. In spite of getting a higher style model, Gold has appeared in men’s magazine Maxim as well as ads for Coca-Cola and Vodafone. She has also appeared in Robbie Williams’s “Rock DJ” video.
Acting
Gold’s 1st acting part was playing a footballer’s girlfriend named Scarlett on the show Dream Team. She was a standard throughout the 20052006 series. Gold was quoted as saying, “Well, initially I auditioned for the element of Chloe and they DT referred to as me back a week later to study Scarlett, so I guess it was meant to be. I did an episode a couple of years ago when I was modelling, I’ve watched it on and off since then.” In that very same interview, Gold was asked if she would like to be a footballer’s wife, and responded, “I would hate to be a kept woman, all that lunching and purchasing appears like such challenging work.”
In 2008, Gold starred in the horror film Beyond the Rave as Lucretia. Also in 2008, she appeared in an arts film produced by Angelo Valentino sponsored by Brockmans Gin which was shown in Cannes.
Individual life
Lauren Gold grew up in England with her mother, a former model, and her brother and sister Frances. Growing up, Gold was in awe of her mother, a best model in the 1960s, whose photographs adorned their residence. As early as age two, she was “obsessed with dressing up” and posing in front of the camera. At age 13, Gold’s mother submitted her along with her siblings’ photos to modelling agencies. However, Gold was the only one who wanted to pursue modelling as a career. When Gold was a teenager, she attended an all-girls college, which was really strict about her grades and attendance. She was provided time off college to pursue her modelling, with the proviso that she hold her grades up. Considerably of her initial modelling perform was for the duration of her college holidays.
Throughout Gold’s modelling career, her really like life has been chronicled by the tabloids regardless of her keeping a fairly low profile. In her early career, she allegedly dated Westlife singer Mark Feehily from 1999 to 2002. The pair kept a low profile due to his boy band status, with the exception of attending the Coyote Ugly premiere together. Several years soon after the break up, Feehily came out of the closet. In 2000, the model was linked to her “Rock DJ” co-star Robbie Williams. Although there was a lot speculation of a romance with Williams, Gold has by no means admitted to a fling with him, but said at the time that she loved his body.
In April 2004, she was pictured out to lunch with footballer Fredrik Ljungberg. The Sun reported that the two have been seen possessing romantic dinners and walks on the beach. In the summer time of 2004, the pair had been also spotted in Ljungberg’s hometown of Halmstad, Sweden, as well as Bstad, Sweden, where Ljungberg and his family would devote their summers. Neither Gold or Ljungberg ever confirmed their relationship.
In 2006, tabloids speculated that Gold had dated Dream Team co-star Robert Kazinsky, soon after he published a series of enjoy poems. There was also some speculation that she and Ziggy Lichman of Big Brother fame had been as soon as an item. Lichman’s buddies claim that the two enjoyed a two-year romance.
